Supporting homeless, vulnerable and isolated people in Kent.
The Cook's Tale is proud to support Porchlight.
Since 2020 we have raised thousands through events and customer donations to support their work.
Porchlight helps people who are homeless or at risk of becoming so. Some are homeless and need help escaping the streets. Others are in danger of losing their home and need support to keep on track.
Porchlight is striving for a fairer society where vulnerable people find stability, the most excluded are included, and where homelessness and poverty are things of the past.

SUPPORTING THE HOMELESS AND VULNERABLE DURING THE CRISIS
During the worst of the covid crisis charity's such as Catching Lives struggled as their donations and reserves dried out. Our chefs have supported the local homeless and vulnerable by providing thousands of healthy cooked meals and fund raising.
Our chefs also provided thousands of meals to NHS staff around Kent, working long hours and late into the night.
